Arrival in England

So, Kyle and I arrived safe and sound in England (hence my typing away happily in Oxford).  We got to Heathrow and waited FOREVER to get through customs.  Our friends Louise and Sam came to pick us up, which was VERY nice of them....and off we went!  We spent the first day in Canterbury, walking around, getting some much needed Starbucks.  For dinner, Sam cooked us an amazing (i repeat--- AMAZING) English Sunday Roast Dinner.  Yes, it was that great that it had to be capitalized.  Next day we had an English breakfast at Sainsburys, and we were off to Leeds Castle!  Leeds castle is a beautiful little retreat the royal family used to retire to in the summers.  It is still used to house ambassadors and foreign VIPs.  ALso...some people have their weddings there...hint..hint....

The whole castle with the surrounding moat
There are a MILLION peacocks wandering around the castle grounds.  Speaking of birds, did you know that you can go to jail for killing a swan?  Apparently that's one of the queen's rules....
I think I found my future career.  Haha...kidding...this was taken place at our friend Louise's pub.
